Accommodation
The cottage has a sitting room and kitchen downstairs, and three bedrooms
and a bathroom upstairs. For full size photographs click on the thumbnail
images below.
The property accommodates five people comfortably, with a maximum permitted
occupancy of six, two of whom must be children under 10 years old.
Heating is provided by a back-boiler behind the wood-burning stove
in the sitting room, with radiators in all the other rooms,(not Central
Heating).There is also an immersion heater in the first bedroom to provide
hot water when the fire is not in use. The cottage does not have a telephone,
but there is a public telephone about a mile away in Powburn.
Parking for one car is on the street immediately outside the property.
An additional car may be parked on land around the corner, adjacent to
Branton Church House and the school.
One dog over the age of 12 months is permitted, as long as it
is fully house trained, remains downstairs at all times, and is not likely
to damage the property in any way. Please note that smoking is
not permitted in the cottage at any time. No other pets are permitted.

stone floor; Belfast sink; dishwasher; electric cooker with two
ovens; fridge; microwave; fully equipped dresser containing white
china, cafetière, knife block, baking utensils, stick blender,
scales etc.; washing machine (powder provided); basic provisions
including tea and coffee, oils and seasoning, flour, sugar; table
and benches to seat six comfortably.
