The property accommodates five people comfortably, with a maximum permitted occupancy of six, two of whom must be children under 10 years old. Heating is provided by a back-boiler behind the wood-burning stove in the sitting room, with radiators in all the other rooms,(not Central Heating). There is also an immersion heater in the first bedroom to provide hot water when the fire is not in use. The cottage does not have a telephone, but there is a public telephone about a mile away in Powburn. Parking for one car is on the street immediately outside the property. An additional car may be parked on land around the corner, adjacent to Branton Church House and the school.

One dog over the age of 12 months is permitted, as long as it is fully house trained, remains downstairs at all times, and is not likely to damage the property in any way. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage at any time. No other pets are permitted.
